What are slip resistant tiles?

We think it’s important to consider both the style and function of tiles in the home which is why we’re passionate about tile performance. Slip resistance determines where a tile is safe to use in the home particularly focusing on wet areas and outdoors where surfaces can become slippery. Slip resistant tiles are found in various different materials, most commonly porcelain, and made with better texture/grip in mind. This is achieved by texturising the surface of the tiles, reducing the risk of slipping where they are installed.
