The range includes planks with detailed wood-effect printing and hybrid wood flooring options topped with a real wood veneer, available in both plank and herringbone LVT styles. There are plenty of colours to choose from too, with soft pale oaks, warm natural tones and deep chocolate browns, so you can find the exact shade you’re picturing for your room.

Each floor clicks together easily and comes with integrated underlay, helping to make fitting more straightforward. Our SPC flooring is part of our wider LVT flooring range, and it’s full of warm, inviting oak shades, with soft vanilla, sesame and marzipan oaks keeping a room light and fresh, and richer cinnamon, coffee and chocolate tones bringing a cosy, grounded feel to a kitchen or living space. You’ll also notice our designs come with either a 0.3mm or 0.5mm wear layer, which is the clear protective layer on top of each plank. The thicker 0.5mm designs give a little extra protection in the busiest rooms and come in matching plank and herringbone versions of the same colour, so you could lay a classic herringbone through the hallway and carry the same shade into the kitchen in planks.

As stone plastic composite flooring is fully waterproof throughout, it’s a really practical choice for kitchen flooring, standard bathroom flooring, utility rooms and conservatories, and it’s tough enough for busy commercial spaces too. Every plank has its own natural variation in colour and grain, so mixing panels from a few different packs as you lay the floor gives a lovely, authentic finish, and matching skirting boards are available for selected ranges to neatly cover the expansion gap around the room. What Is SPC Flooring? ▾

SPC flooring, short for stone plastic composite flooring, has a rigid core built for strength and stability. It's fully waterproof and stain resistant throughout, with a realistic wood-effect texture in a matt finish. It's a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms and other busy rooms across the home, and it's also suitable for conservatories.

Can I Use SPC Flooring With Underfloor Heating? ▾

Yes, SPC flooring works with both electric and water-fed underfloor heating systems, up to a maximum surface temperature of 27°C. The heating elements need to be covered with a minimum 20mm screed or overlay before fitting, and if your room has more than one heating loop, the temperature difference between them shouldn't exceed 5°C, otherwise you risk uneven heat across the floor.

Leave the heating switched off for at least 48 hours after fitting, then bring the temperature up gradually rather than all at once. Furniture should be raised on legs at least 10cm high, and rugs shouldn't be used on top of a heated floor.

Can I Fit A Kitchen Island On Top Of My SPC Flooring? ▾

Yes, heavy items like a kitchen island can sit directly on top without needing an expansion gap around the structure itself. Fitted kitchen cabinets are treated a little differently though, since they're fixed to the wall rather than freestanding, they still need the correct expansion gap left around them, the same as any other fixed feature in the room. Waste pipes leading into the island or cabinets will also need their own expansion gap.

Does SPC Flooring Need To Acclimatise Before Fitting? ▾

Yes, SPC flooring should be left in its original packaging, laid flat and off the substrate in its intended room for a minimum of 24 hours prior to installation.

Do I Need To Leave An Expansion Gap When Fitting SPC Flooring? ▾

Yes, a 10mm expansion gap should be left around the perimeter of the room and any fixed obstacles.

Can I Use My SPC Flooring In A Conservatory? ▾

Yes, our SPC flooring is suitable for use in rooms subject to greater changes in temperature, such as a conservatory or garden room. Our real wood veneer and Pronto ranges aren't, though, so if you're comparing across our LVT collection, it's worth checking which range you're looking at before you decide.

Can SPC Flooring Be Fitted In A Bathroom? ▾

Yes, SPC flooring is suitable for standard bathrooms, but not wet rooms or anywhere the floor would be exposed to standing water, such as inside a shower tray. In bathrooms and other wet areas, it's a good idea to fill the expansion gap around the edge of the room with a suitable sealant, this helps stop water finding its way down to the subfloor.

Can I Steam Mop My SPC Flooring? ▾

No, steam mops should be avoided. For spills, use a damp cloth rather than leaving the panels wet, and stick to vacuuming or sweeping for everyday care.

What’s The Difference Between 0.3mm And 0.5mm SPC Flooring? ▾

The measurement refers to the wear layer, the clear protective layer on top of each plank. A thicker 0.5mm wear layer gives a little extra protection in the busiest rooms, and our 0.5mm designs also come in matching plank and herringbone versions, while our 0.3mm designs are available as planks.
