We're back with our monthly look at the mosaic tiles that have been inspiring our decorative daydreams recently. This month it's the turn of the elegant and unique Split Face mosaics.
This range consists of an exciting variety of mosaic tiles, all of which are ready and willing to take your home interior to a new level, but we thought we'd give you a sneak peek at just a few of our favorites, with tips on how they can work for you.
Quartzite
The wall tiles in the Quartzite collection of Split Face Mosaics have the matt finish you'd expect from natural stone tile, but thanks to the naturally-occurring tonal and textural variations, the finish is anything but dull.
These intricate details give a three-dimensional look to your walls that will work beautifully in the kitchen or bathroom - although you should be aware that this type of tile shouldn't come into direct content with water. But the merits of the Quartzite tiles do not end in these rooms: you could create the most stunning surround for a fireplace using these mosaic tiles, or indeed an entire feature wall!
For those of us who are letting a certain décor style be our guide, the Quartzite tiles can work beautifully in both traditional and contemporary-themed rooms thanks to their sleek, understated appearance and unmistakable character.
Uncalibrated Slate Linear Split Face Mosaic
Want to embrace the outside and bring it into your home in the most stylish way possible? You may have found the perfect solution with our Uncalibrated Slate Linear Split Face Mosaic.
These black tiles are similar to the ones above in that they can work their magic all around your home, but with their remarkable depth of colour and the tonal variations between each tile, the look is not only deeply dramatic, it's also full of life.
Beige Marble Split Face Mosaic
Our Beige Marble Split Face Mosaic tiles epitomise everything that's fresh and exciting in the latest architectural-meets-interior trends. With their luxurious marble look and textured matt finish, rustic outdoors-style aesthetics are brought inside in a way that works effortlessly all around the home.
We would accessorize a marble split face mosaic wall with natural wood furniture and floors while bringing splashes of earthy reds and sunset oranges into the mix with soft furnishing.
