We Join Julia Kendell & Alan Titchmarsh

Star of our brochure and one of our favourite Interior Design experts Julia Kendell popped in to The Alan Titchmarsh show recently to talk about her top tiling tips.

Julia talked through the practicalities of tiling and how to achieve a professional finish when doing the job yourself. The Interior Design guru said basic white wall tiles were a good way to save money when decorating and as they're relatively inexpensive, it doesn't matter if you break a few!

One of Julia's top tips was to use coloured or grey grout alongside basic, value tiles to achieve a more expensive look. She also talked Alan through how to cut tiles, how to add adhesive to a wall and even how to grout your tiles.

Julia also talked through how to use mosaics on a budget by using them in small amounts. Using them as a feature panel was her top tip to brighten up a room without breaking the bank.
