Whether you’re at home or on the move, you’ll be able to use our tile layout planner on your PC, laptop, tablets and smartphones!
If you’d prefer an in-person experience, pop into your local store, where you’ll find an iPad with the tile layout planner ready and waiting for you to explore. By accessing our tool in store, you will be able to browse our tiles and simultaneously visualise how they will look in your home. Plus our in-store experts will also be on hand to help with any queries you may have.
Step 1: Visit Tile My Home Visualiser, our tile visualiser tool
You can access our tile planner tool here. Alternatively, you can find the Tile My Home Visualiser tool at the top of our website.
Step 2: Choose or upload your room
To start planning your tile layout, you simply need to either upload an image of the room you wish to decorate or select one of our pre-existing rooms. There are seven pre-existing room templates to choose from such as a traditional bathroom, outdoor space, island kitchen, hallway, and even the Leicester Tigers changing room!
Step 3: Choose your tiles
Once you’ve selected the room you wish to decorate, it’s time to get creative.
With our tile planner tool, you can select the specific surface you wish to tile and once you have made your choice you will be able to explore our vast collection of tiles. Filter by product type, material, suitability, colour, finish, and shape. Alternatively, use the search function to find the perfect tile.
Step 4: Compare tiles
Comparing different designs can be challenging. That’s why our Tile My Home tool allows you to visualise multiple tile options side-by-side.
Step 5: Experiment with coloured grout
It can be a feature that is often overlooked, but grout has the ability to change the look and finish of your tiles, from the colour to the chosen grout line width. To ensure that you pick the right grout for your tiles, our tool allows you to experiment and visualise a range of grouting options.
Step 6: Change the pattern
We have a vast tile collection, with many of our tiles being available in different sizes and formats. With our visualiser tool, you can easily change the tile's laying pattern to experiment with different styles to suit your room of choice, ensuring that you select a tile that is perfectly suited to your home.
Step 7: Experiment with Dulux paint
After visualising your tiles, you can use our tile planner tool to discover which paint colours best complement your tiles. Simply filter by paint and select the colours you want to see.
Step 8: View your selections
If you would like to know more about your tile selection simply click ‘view product’ on the side of the page. This will take you to the product page where you can learn more about the tile such as the size, and weight, and even take a look at reviews from our customers.
Step 9: Order your samples
We know that planning the layout of your tiles online is very different to seeing them in person. That’s why our tool allows you to order samples of the tiles you have been viewing. Simply click on the ‘order sample’ button that should appear when you have selected a tile. This will take you to our sample service where you can select up to 3 free cut samples per order as well as purchasing full sized tiles if required.
Step 10: Save and share
Once you are happy with the room you have planned, utilise our ‘save and share’ function on the right-hand side of the screen. You can email your design, download your design, or share it via your socials.
