Dulux’s Colour of the Year for 2023, Wild Wonder, is a stunning colour with a magical property that mimics colours we see in nature. It subtly changes throughout the day as the suns moves across the sky appearing as a golden almost ripe barley in the morning to fresh cardamom pod with hints of zesty green at midday and a soft fresh hay in the evening.
A truly versatile colour in the home it continues the growing theme of connecting with nature, respecting it, and learning from it. Helping our creativity and allowing the wonders of the world to inspire us again and making Wild Wonder even more, well, wild and wonderful!
With the aim of creating calm and balance inspired by nature in our homes, Dulux has created four key colour palettes that connect with Wild Wonder, enriching our personal space with various moods depending on our personalities and tastes. To make it even easier to complete your room, we’ve created individual tile edits that complement each of the four colour palettes and some styling mood boards to show you how to use them altogether to create different interior looks in your home.

Harmoniously working together like the humble bee, Buzz is a collective and dynamic palette bringing different elements together to create a rich and unified whole that is diverse yet joyful. This is all about softness and romance, using smooth glossy and matt surface finishes combined with monoprint patterns and pops of fun colour.
A palette to enrich our souls, Raw lets us look at things in a new way with the idea that less is more and creating good from what we do like biobased innovations and reusing waste materials.
Taking inspiration from natural resources like wood, wheat and mushrooms, this earthy based palette is full of rural texture and handmade finishes.
Flow
The regenerating movement of water is both soft and firm, Flow explores the changes between natural surfaces like tides and rocks to create the sense of balance and purpose.
Those ever-changing flows are reflected in rounded shapes, fluid pattern and rough fabrics contrasted by exaggerated lines and reeded textures for a contemporary take on Nordic simplicity.
