Bathroom Tiles

Once you’ve found a few bathroom tiles you like, think about how they could work together across the room. A square tile, like Matrix can look clean and understated in a straight grid, or completely different in a chequerboard or striped layout. Smaller mosaic bathroom tiles are lovely for picking out a shower niche or basin splashback, while glazed Zellige-style tiles bring more variation to a wall as the light catches the surface. You don’t have to use lots of different designs either, as changing the size, layout or finish can be enough to give different areas of the bathroom their own feel. If you’re still working out how you want the whole room to come together, our guide to designing your dream bathroom has plenty more ideas.

It’s worth thinking about where each tile will be used before making your final choice. Some are suitable for walls, others can be used on floors, and some work across both, so always check the individual product details. Porcelain bathroom tiles are a practical option worth exploring for floors and busier bathrooms, with plenty of stone and marble effects if you want the look of a natural material with straightforward day-to-day care. For floors likely to get wet, the slip rating matters too, and our high slip resistant bathroom tiles are a useful place to look when extra grip underfoot is important.
