School children in Sheffield added positive messages to our tiles as part of an interactive art project in Sheffield. Charity Changing Faces asked individuals, schools and organisations to colour a tile to symbolise hope and happiness. Messages ranged from "never judge a book by its cover" to "don't be afraid to stand out".

The tiles were then brought together with messages of affirmation to create a butterfly -   the Changing Faces logo – placed at Sheffield Cathedral and Botanical Gardens in summer 2017.

Sean O'Neill, our Head of Marketing and Online said: “ Changing Faces is such a fantastic charity and we were incredibly proud to could help them with their first ever National Face Equality Day.

“As a responsible business, we strive to make a positive impact and help communities that we are a part of on a national and regional scale.
"We're delighted to have been able to help such a vital campaign in supporting adults and children across the country to live confident, happy lives.”

Changing Faces has been campaigning for fair treatment of people with disfigurements for 25 years.

The charity is calling on opinion formers in parliament and government, healthcare professionals, the NHS and public bodies, schools, and businesses to think differently and create a fair society.

The charity says that “ to correct these injustices, it is also essential for everyone to recognize how everyone is a bystander to this inequality and commit to ending it.”
