Alpha City Builders

I was recommended Mo from Alpha City Builders as a good tiler for my bathroom job. He was not the most expensive or cheap of the quotes I had received and he was available to do the job. I have to say I am very disappointed to say I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. Have you heard of a builder who has no transport of their own and request customers to collect their stock in their own vehicles!! The work has not been done to the quality and standard of finish I was expecting. The wall tiling is badly done and in the suspended floor the correct level of insulation has not been fitted under the floor tiling - even though as a customer I requested this (and was paying for this), the new plumbing work I had requested to be done on the wall and behind the skirting board has not been done and re-plumbing done on floor again!! The plumbing behind the toilet can be visibly seen and now I have to hid that with a toilet brush holder. They chipped the sink in two places and refused to take the blame, the new plughole fitted in the sink is so tight - it does not function properly. I can’t use sink full of water as it escapes from plughole. Glass screen refitted now makes screeching noise when moved, door refitted does not lock, toilet roll holder and towel rail badly refitted that loo roll and towel keep dropping on the floor. If anyone doesn’t believe me and wants to come and have a look at the poor quality of the work, you are more than welcome. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY TO DO ANY WORK IN YOUR LOVELY HOME
