Tile laying patterns are a great way to add interest to even the smallest of spaces; they also can add depth and help change the proportions of a room. For example, to make a short hallway seem longer a plank format tiled vertically will elongate the floor space. Similarly, a horizontal herringbone pattern will draw the eye across the space making a narrow room feel wider.
We love finding new ways to lay different kinds of tiles and our Dartrey range has to be the stand out example. Available in a rhombus and a thin short plank shape, these two formats can form up to eight different laying patterns! It's also available in three different colours, think of all those possibilities!
