Botella™ Shadow Line Tile is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really difficult to lay On the sample board in the shop these looked great, but when the delivery arrived I could see it was going to be a tough job. They come with the backing paper on the front, instead of netting on the back like most mosaics. On top of that, the way they have been stuck to the backing (fronting?) paper is not uniform. Some lines are slightly longer than their equivalent on the next panel, so the panels do not line up neatly next to one another. This causes unsightly gaps. It's difficult to slide the tiles around to sort these gaps because the paper stuck on the front means you can't see them. If you try to pull the paper off too soon, it breaks the bond; if you leave it too late, you can't slide the tiles! Placing these round our cooker inside the chimney breast has taken my wife and me three days. We ended up having to lay the tiles one-by-one, for the most part, which nearly drove us mad. They look pretty nice, but it wasn't worth the trouble. If I had my choice again I'd buy ordinary mosaics on a net backing.
