Very poor quality. Tile splits into layers as soon as you make a fine cut.
Having bought a flat finished slate tile from topps tiles that was advertised at 10mm depth only to find out it was 12mm I bought these tiles for their rustic look. They did look how I imagined (although the beige/brown sample tile wasn't in any of the boxes I ordered but I was more concerned that the advertised depth was correct).
I bought three boxes of the tiles but as soon as I made a fine cut the tile splintered into layers. Because we were doing a crazy paving design there are a lot of fine cuts needed so in the end I just binned the tiles.
For this job I've bough terracota tiles from topps tiles that are fantastic and great to work with. But the money wasted on slate tiles that are advertised at the incorrect measurements or are of poor quality has been very dissapointing

These tiles look fantastic. The mix of colours and textures is superb.
I had these tiles laid by a professional and I'm delighted with the result.
There were a few damaged tiles but the ordering calculator ensured we had enough.
The only downside was delivery - one man was not enough to unload half a tonne of tiles. As he didn't have a trolley, my husband and I had to help him carry each box into the house.
