Tiles are sometimes not square
I love the top tiles staff but to many times I've been given un-squared tiles which I have to spend time and money re-cutting.
Another problem of these tiles is the natural imperfections they have. Now I understand a few gold spots all a red line but I don't expect whole lines of white/red lines in them.
This item needs some major quality control before they get me a return customer. It's a shame as you have the best staff.

White is Definitely Not Black!!!!
I ordered 15m3 of this tile, through my local Store. The staff there were very helpful, knowledgeable and assisted greatly throughout the ordering and purchasing process. They gave great advice on how to treat, lay and look after this material. They really could not have done a better job. They pointed out that there would be certain colour variations and we joked about 50 shades of grey. All Good.
Then the tiles were delivered. To call these tiles Honed Black Slate is frankly misleading. The slates in the store and the ones on the website are obviously going to show more uniformity than what would be delivered. I accepted that and expected a certain amount of variation from nearly black to a dark grey, however the range of colours that actually arrived was unacceptable. This was not just colour variation but a variation in colours, which ranged from dark grey to virtually white, with just about every shade of grey in between!!!
I purchase the tiles knowing full well that they would be colour variations but I didn't expect them to be different colours completely from each other. The tiles were returned and to give Topps their credit they accepted the return with no fuss, although I am still awaiting my money back 3 days later, eventhough I paid them initially by bank transfer.
If you are looking for a tile that is generally dark in colour do not buy these, if however you are wanting a patchwork of colour then these will suit you fine.
