So so pleased with my downstairs bathroom. It previously had a couple of plain white tiles behind the sink. Did all the work myself - first time tiling. Chose the Batik range as they were just so pretty. Tiles work out at 39p each. I visited several Topps tiles before making my decision and I was really impressed with the customer service each time. I got loads of tips on how to go about tiling. Thanks to Penarth, Evesham and Moreton-in-Marsh staff. I bought a Topps tiles electric tile cutter and it was perfect for cutting the tiles and easy to use. I was helped with choosing the adhesive, the grout colour and the best tip was to use the Bal protective sealer as it made it easy to remove the grout, especially as the Batik tiles are textured and it would be horrible if the grout dried in the grooves.

Because of the mix with off-white, his range is good for providing a subdued hint of colour without being too overpowering. I have used the grey in my entrance porch (for muddy dogs shaking!) and the red colour on the hearth in my living room. Lay out the rows to sort out patterns before you start or it can be confusing. (It was for me anyway!)
For my most recent purchase, I found a few broken tiles in the box. A bit irritating to have to return to the shop but staff always very helpful and found me enough spares to make up.
