The ProWire system is EXCLUSIVE TO TOPPS TILES. It is a loose wire system kit from Warmup, the world's best-selling electric underfloor heating brand. ProWire is an upgrade of the current Warmup DWS package, designed specifically for the professional installer. It sits between traditional methods such as matting systems and primer applications for loose wire systems.
The ProWire installation method consists mainly of two tapes. A double-sided highly adhesive tape and a fibre glass mesh tape. The adhesive tape is put across the section of area where the cable is laid. This tape holds the wire during installation. Because it is double-sided and highly adhesive, installers do not need to use primer. The mesh tape is placed on top of the double-sided tape after the wire has been laid, securely fixing the wire for full contact with the subfloor. This ensures that the cable does not detach with mechanical impact or during the application of wet tile adhesive.
It offers a highly adhesive tape which avoids the use of primer altogether. Using ProWire can reduce your installation time by 50% when compared against the installation time of the current method using primer – saving you time and money!
The ProWire system comes in sizes 3m², 4m², 5m², 6m² and 10m², with an output of 150w/m² and are BEAB approved.
All systems are compatible with Warmup's 3iE energy-monitor thermostats and come with Warmup's unique Lifetime and SafetyNet Installation guarantees.
