Contemporary family bathroom
A family bathroom with bespoke vanity area, wall hung toilet and basin. In addition to the bath, Hiding out of the photo is the walk in wet room shower.
Compact en-suite
Making small spaces work; here I am adding the finishing touches to a small ensuite. I extended the framing of the wall hung pan and created a bespoke cupboard with shaver socket for the electric tooth brush. The brown and cream theme are lifted by some interesting mosaics behind the mirror with lights and heated pad. Hidden out of view is the 900 quadrant shower.
Open Plan Kitchen/Diner/Lounge
To make the kitchen complement the open plan area, I used granite worktops and warm birch shaker doors. Upstands were used instead of tiles and the paint flowed through the entire area. the table was crafted from a 3m solid 1m wide beech worktop and wrapped around the kitchen units on the one side to provide a very versatile space
Victorian heaven
The customer wanted a statement entrance to their home and I designed and installed this beautiful entrance flooring. Each tile is individual and not on a rope; a very fiddly, detailed and rewarding job.
Metro white
The customer wanted a more durable surface above the upstands.
Opaque 500x200
To provide the customer with a shower/bath I had to rotate the bath 180 degrees, installed new tiles and added a shower pump so that the rainfall shower delivered a great showering experience.
Minty metro with oak
The aim of the project was to deliver a ’gorgeous little bathroom’ in this little cottage extension. To achieve this, we used wood on the floor and little minty metro tiles. These, combined with the roll top bath and wall hung cloakroom basin gives a real sense of space. The finishing touch is the overflow bath fill and thermostatic valve which keep the room clutter free and the customer gets the same temperature bath every time!
Small wet room
A lovely little wetroom utilising small mosaics which hug the contours of the preformed wetroom tray beneath. In addition to the standard glass screen, I ordered a bespoke smaller piece of glass with a chamfered corner to keep the basin area dry.
Shower room refresh
Using ’opaque’ tiles, a bespoke mirror inset into the tiles and a rather fancy shower enclosure, the customer was thrilled with the transformation.
quality mosaics
Finishing the wetroom with a lovely stone effect 40mm mosaic worked fantastically well. Attention to detail to achieve the perfect symmetry was really important to me and I only had to cut one row of tiles to achieve this; can you see which ones?
Victorian downstairs toilet
To avoid the token gesture 3 rows of tiles above the basin, I used metro tiles from floor to dado to ensure a quality and durable finish around the entire basin area. Just the wall paper to add above the dado and it’s all done.
Victorian quality
A bathroom for a Victorian property using Victorian mosaics and basic small rectangular tiles with black grout for the ultimate effect.
A small bathroom with a big personality
This bathroom is only 2200x1400. By adding a 1400 shower tray with a fix and fold screen system, large 600 tiles and boxing in all the services, adding a wall hung basin and toilet along with a gorgeous lit mirror the room feels much more spacious.
Double basin with inset mirrors
600x300 porcelain tiles cut around the frames of the inset mirrors so that you get light and a demister pad in a mirror which is flush with the tiles.
Wet room with mosaics
A wet room created with a Topps tray, rectangular waste and tile carrier. with some subtle cutting of the mosaics, a perfect symmetry is achieved whilst getting a textured, anti slip finish.
De cluttered ensuite
To create an uncluttered, modern ensuite it was very important to drop the shower tray to floor level, re route the radiator pipes so that they come out of the wall and not the floor and construct a framework that incorporated the wall hung pan, windowsill area and basin. The room is now a lot bigger than it once appeared.
Unclutterted Ensuite 2
The basin, window and toilet area.
A big room with a low ceiling
To work with the length of the room, the wall tiles were 690mm long. These tiles contrast well with the near black slate effect floor tiles which are cut into the contour of the wet room shower tray for an almost invisible slope. A textured feature wall on the right hand wall and some lovely little alcoves above the bath finish the tiling scheme.
A big room with a low ceiling 2
.....and nicely hidden behind the door is the back to wall toilet with a space on the left hand side for the bath overflow fill valve; taps are so yesterday!
