Our Bistro range is a great way to introduce marble into your home, this porcelain marble effect tile creates a small format statement in any room of the home. The cool toned range work in harmony together or look great used on their own. Here we show you five different ways to style the Bistro range depending on your taste.
Whether you're looking to renovate your family bathroom or make a statement in a compact WC, the Bistro range makes a great splashback. Choose a few select tiles and lay them out in your favourite ratio for a simple nod to the marble trend. We love how @thehousebloggersbuilt have used dark to light shading with a black wall. Accentuate this look with matt black taps and a colour pop towel; we love H&M's range of chevron hand towels.
For a smaller kitchen, using a larger hexagonal tile can make the room look taller as they draw the eye up, particularly when using a contrasting grout colour. Make the room come alive with pops of bright colour, we particularly like @storyofagirl89's use of red appliances (she even has a red fridge!) against the grey backdrop, the dark blue cupboards finish off the look. To keep the red from looking too contemporary, opt for a wooden worktop, it will help soften the overall finish of the room.
If red's not your bag why not try next season's hot new shade teal. Use it as an accent colour on your units for a pop of eccentricity. Using Bistro on the floor in a random colour pattern will really highlight the units. This is a great way to update an existing kitchen; simply paint the units and buy some new doorknobs and you instantly have a new look. Mix with natural woods and mid-century furniture to calm the teal down and make it feel like a chic French café.
Make a statement in your living room with a Bistro tiled fireplace, even if you don't have an actual fireplace! Currently trending on Instagram is this idea of converting a fireplace like @life.of.moo. Choose a statement tile or an interesting laying pattern and dress the space with a sculptural vase and some fresh cut flowers. If you don't have a fireplace mimic the look of painted brick with our Hartley tile, you could even mount a fake surround on the wall.
Create a stylish wet room with the white Bistro tile on the wall and a textured wood effect tile like Dartrey on the floor. The grey tones are warmed up with the distressed edging to the tile but take this one-step further by adding in some cherry wood fixtures like a sink unit or even a stool. Pair the look with a warm-toned neutral wall paint and you'll have a luxurious feeling shower every day!
A great tip for deciding on your favourite style is to save your favourite images on either Pinterest or Instagram and at the end of the month have a look back through your chosen photos; you'll always find a common theme.
