We love the mirror backing here, and the assortment of candle styles here, but if you want to complement more rustic décor, we can't get enough of these gorgeous lanterns for an alternative take on the look.

If you don't have a distinct fireplace surround already, why not get arty and prop a large picture frame against a wall, before embellishing it with plenty of candles in an assortment of cosy winter colours? Just ensure you always keep a close eye on lit candles, and don't let any of your stylish decorations dangle into the flames!
