Guide to Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating is the perfect solution for whole house heating or for individual rooms including kitchen or bathrooms. Whether you want to use it as your primary heat source or just to keep your toes warm, it’s suitable for all types of projects including new-builds, retrofit and renovations. Underfloor heating is also well suited for use under most floor finishes including carpet, wood, laminate, vinyl, tile and stone.

Warmup undertile heaters are guaranteed for the lifetime of your floor. When installed on an insulated floor they reach their operating temperature within 20 minutes, allowing you to heat only the rooms you need when you need them.

Underfloor heating spreads warmth over the entire floor area, resulting in around half the heat of a radiator being emitted as low-temperature radiant heat. Warming a large area at a low temperature (21-25°C / 70-77°F) produces the most comfortable and efficient form of heating possible by reducing the heat loss from our bodies without overheating the surrounding air.
