Topps Tiles Colour Intensifier is rated

This was recommended to me in store by a member of staff at point of sale as a sealer/protector of the tiles and as it states a colour enhancer. Great I thought! What a wonderful idea! So wrong...Whilst it may well protect the tiles (yet to be tested) the beautiful colour we had of the Jade Terre Offset Brick which was a gorgeous shimmery silvery/grey with glittery specks has been ruined. It has changed it to a really, really dark grey and the tiles have lost all of their beautiful shimmer and shine, we're so disappointed as the tiles were not cheap and we chose them specifically because of their finish which is now no-more. It was meant to enhance them and instead for us it has ruined them. There was no way of seeing before hand what it would do to these otherwise gorgeous tiles and had I have wanted ugly dark grey tiles I'd have bought ugly dark grey tiles.

Works great on slate floors
I like a rich sheen on my slate kitchen floors. I used to use HG Impregnator which they've stopped manufacturing. I was led to believe oil based stone sealants were being legislated out by EU owing to environmental concerns.
I've tried using the water based sealants and enhancers. The water based sealants work but not for long and they don't enhance slate tiles at all. It almost feels like your applying water.
This stuff from Topps is Excellent. It comes in a big container so I suppose it's worth the money. The results last a very long time and dying time is very quick. I used a smooth roller for perfect results.
When you first apply this product it makes the floor look wet and very shiny. However, after a day or two, the intensity dies down to a rich lustrous sheen which makes slate tiles look amazing.
