Needlepoint embroidery saw a revival in the mid-19th century led by the designer William Morris. Beginning by experimenting with designs for his own home, the Red House, he championed the traditional skills involved in embroidery. Favouring bold colours and symmetrical patterns, Beatrice recreates elements of traditional needlepoint and plays with geometric florals in a contrasting colour palette that creates a blanket effect when used en masse.
Hand-finished in Stoke-On-Trent, these historical patterns have been produced in the UK for over 150 years and feature timeless designs.
