The Arts & Crafts movement was founded by William Morris in the 1880s, seen as a rejection to the industrial era of mass production, the movement encouraged people to look outside of the growing cities and be inspired by the picturesque countryside. Alice, featuring delicate blue fronds with pastel pink flowers, was inspired by the English cottage garden; its wild arrangement connoting the randomness of nature rather than the symmetrical formal gardens seen in the previous century.
Hand-finished in Stoke-On-Trent, these historical patterns have been produced in the UK for over 150 years and feature timeless designs due to their contemporary colour palette and intricate detailing.
