Outstanding customer service!
Just back from collecting my Tiles at the Christchurch branch of Topps Tiles. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Diamante tiles that I have bought and also by the store's outstanding customer service.
Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable and in particular the Assistant Manager - Leighton - went out of his way to make sure I got the right tiles at the right price.
A BIG thank you - and a well done for raising funds for the Macmillan coffee morning, it just shows what a nice bunch of professional and caring people you are!

SERVICE ABOVE & BEYOND
We recently tried to get some "Dolce Vita" tiles that had been discontinued from sale.
We contacted this store and spoke with Layton who was friendly, polite knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Layton checked his store stock and advised us that he did not have any in his branch, but he could check group stock and ring around and try and get us the quantity and the colors that we wanted.
We wanted to view the tiles before making a commitment as we were advised that we would not be able to return them to the store after purchase as they are special order.
So Layton rang the Poole branch who advised him that they had approximately 6 sets in stock.
This was great news and he kindly notified them that we would make the 24 mile round trip to view them.
When we went to the Poole store, we were greeted by a man who was eating a sandwich? We introduced ourselves and advised him about the tiles. He seemed to be informed about the inter branch call.
The salesman disappeared out the back and returned 10 minutes later to advise us that he could not find them? When we questioned why when we had called ahead he could not answer? Maybe a stock take and adjusting the system would rectify this? Something I'm amazed isn't done on a regular basis to find stock discrepancies.
We went back to Layton again at the Christchurch branch who was extremely apologetic and asked his colleague Paul? To call the Salisbury branch and check stock, as Layton appeared to be busy with a new display.
Later that day we received a phone call from Paul? saying he had asked them to physically check the stock at Salisbury and advised them we would be coming in.
We went across to Salisbury the next day, another (44 mile round trip)
and they helped us out brilliantly. They provided us with some samples at no cost.
We went back to Christchurch and saw Layton again with the exact measurements and he calculated the quantity that we would require.
He listened to our needs perfectly about alternating colours. And told us that he would call around and try to get us the colours and the quantity that we required.
Layton didn't give up and managed to source for us the right stock and arrange the transfer.
He really did go above and beyond with an exceptionally high level of customer service, and was committed to making sure we were happy and got what we wanted.
A Big thank you to Layton and the lads at the Christchurch store. I can only hope that the Poole store step up to the High standard that you've set.
