Concrete sub-floors will benefit from insulation for improved heating performance. Wooden sub-floors must be covered with 18mm WBP ply or Marmox® installation board.
Paint the floor with thermal primer to give a dust-free, tacky base for the tape. It also promotes the effectiveness of the tile adhesive and increases lateral heat transfer, eliminating cold spots.
