Stars for a day
Some 320 young footballers plus families, friends and team coaches came from all parts of the country to take part in Topps Tiles Youth Football Tournament at the Walker’s Stadium.
The 1,000 strong crowd revelled in plenty of exciting football as the 32 teams competed in Under 8; Under 10; Under 12 and U14 (Girls) groups for the coveted Cup and Plate trophies.
Cup winners were Netherley Woodlane Legion from Liverpool; Joseph Whitaker School in Mansfield and Leafield Athletic Ladies from Solihull.
