Big hearted youngsters from Forest Park Strikers U11s have raised a magnificent £487 to help soldiers wounded in Afghanistan. The money was delivered to sponsor Steve Pike at Topps Tiles Stoke on Trent and will go to support the work of the charity Help for Heroes who were on hand to receive the cheque.
Club chairman and former Stoke City player Neville Chamberlain said: "the money was raised from a fun day and the lads and their families should be very proud of their achievement".
