Regal splendour
Topps nationwide fundraising day for the charity Help for Heroes was a particularly royal occasion for staff and customers at Topps Tiles Letchworth. For just one day, a tile shop became the court of Henry V111 – much to the surprise of visiting shoppers who were amazed to be welcomed in such dazzling style.
Topps stores throughout the country did equally ‘heroic’ things including dress down days dressed as legendary comic book heroes from Batman to Lara Croft and Wolverine. We had swashbuckling pirates in Torquay; bike rides in Wales; fun runs in Scotland; bag packs at supermarkets; attendance by the Army at various locations and a visit by the Mayor to his local store at Tamworth.
