The Prince's Trust, an organisation founded by Prince Charles to help disadvantaged young people, has taken the rare step of endorsing Essex-based Eureka School of Tiling, founded by one of Topps' most loyal trade customers, Steve Howard.

On a special visit to celebrate completion of a tiling course by Trust-sponsored student Jonathan Steyne, the Trust's East of England regional director, Graham Ball, said: "the Prince's Trust doesn't make a practice of officially supporting companies but we wanted to find a way to indicate our high opinion of Steve's courses and how they can help transform lives.

“We are always delighted when someone wants to learn tiling with Steve, and Jonathan is a good example of the sort of person who can benefit”.

Jonathan confirmed: “I've been unemployed for a while and I've had some bad family problems but I saw tiling as a way forward. It's great when you find you can do something for yourself and learning from Steve has certainly built up my confidence”.

Once Jonathan qualifies, he will be going to work for former Eureka trainee, Paul Willis, who now runs Vision Tiling.
